Our Staff - We think we
have the best staff in the woodworking business!
Kent Merrill, President. I
was born, reared and married in Southeastern Idaho. My wife Diane and I reared a daughter Lindsay and a son Kris here
in this beautiful valley. We have enjoyed many activities including skiing and four-wheeling. We have enjoyed
working with the schools and donating to many organizations, including the sponsoring of a team for Relay For Life, Cancer
Walkathon. We are a member of the Rigby Chamber of Commerce. In the last 34 years that I have been building cabinets,
I have seen many changes and improvements in the industry in procedures, materials, hinges, hardware and machinery.
Our shop at Merrill Cabinets, Woodworking & Design has state-of-the-art computerized machinery for accuracy and quality
measures for your finished product. We have stains, glazes, toners, colors and wood types that are unlimited for your
needs. We look forward to serving you.
Kris
Merrill, V.P. Having grown up in the cabinet-making industry, I have always been enthused
with testing my abilities, whether it's a simple cabinet or a very intricate piece of furniture. The world is continually
moving and so should our minds. Finding ways to achieve perfection is my continual goal. I have
been a local of the Snake River Valley my entire life. I love the vast surrounds that we have in Idaho. With
the endless outdoor activities that I share with my wife Sarah, son Kooper and daughter Olivia, it is a very enjoyable place
to live and spend time with my family.
Blair Merrill.
I have been with Merrill Cabinet, Woodworking & Design since they opened where I have enjoyed
learning the fine art of cabinet making. My hobbies are fishing, hunting, golf and western dancing.
Lance Cammack. I come to Merrill Cabinet, Woodworking & Design with
15 years of experience in cabinetry and kitchen design. My favorite projects are kitchen hoods, fireplace
mantles and anything that is a challenge. My wife Jenny and I live
in Rigby and have three children, Lexi, Tyler and Megan. I studied Building Construction Management at BYU-Idaho. My free time is spent with my family.
John Swendson. John has been building cabinets
for 20 years. He has an eye for detail in all aspects of cabinet making and pre-fininshing. John has
a quick smile and a great sense of humor. He likes to fish, hunt, camp and spend time with his family and especially
his grandkids.
Dan Broers. I've
been working with Kent and Kris Merrill for over two years now. I'm very excited about the new shop and for all
the good and rewarding times to come.
